Best way to describe this place is Mediocre. The blandest steak&cheese I have ever had. Even the fries were bland. Orders take longer than they should. Was not impressed.

good selection, good value, convenient location on way into town, pick up a sub to take to beach

I've lived here 20 years and never tire of this place. Try the pizza steak or the Italian hogie

Best subs outside NYC and Long Island. Wish I had one in DC region. Frequent all the time and have never once been disappointed. Roast beef, veggie, Italian, Cheesesteak and salads I have had. All amazing and so good it's hard to try anything else on menu.

I had the buff chicken cheese steak and I would have preferred the steak to be chopped up a bit more Hoagie style subs - tried the italian and it was good, but not as good as the ones I get from NY/NJ. This is my friends fav sandwich joint in town - she gives it 5 stars :)

These are the best subs in all of Rehoboth Beach and Newark, DE. Always get the Italian with prosciutto. Fantastic. Got a cheese steak for the first time in several years and it was top notch too. This is always a go to place for take out.

Alright so I am a lover of Italian subs and not many places hits my tastes bud fully. Jersey Mikes is pretty good for a small chain but this place really knows how to make my mouth water before, during, and after I eat one of their Italian subs. It's located near the outlets but kinda by itself in one of those small shopping centers. One of the rare places where I just wanna say just go and stop reading my review. But....this app has a message at the bottom that encourages you to write a longer review and then congratulates you when you do. I guess I like that my app gives me that pat on the back and finds value in my words and says, "Oh yeah! That's how Elites do it" Damn you Yelp App!! Now back to bidness. So what's so good about the Italian sub that makes it better than others? They put in the perfect amount of Italian meat and it's not so bunched and rolled up into a stack of meat that overwhelms the sandwich. You gotta toss in the lettuce tomatoes and the best part is the sweet and hot peppers!! Oil and vinegar of course is added but the highlight is the peppers. Not only that, you got a bread that is soft and chewy (right amount of chew) that completes this masterpiece. I usually like hot subs but this is the ONLY cold sub I will ever get. I also tried the steak and cheese and that was just okay. Man I gotta stop this review now or I have to drive there now! The Good: - Italian sub with everything on it. Get everything or at least the peppers! Meat veggie proportions are perfect. The Bad: -don't know cuz I haven't tried anything else but the Italian!

A Classic Sub Shop Every sub variety we've tried has been delicious. They give a generous amount of meat in each sandwich. Many of the meats are cooked by Casapulla for their own use. The fixings are fresh and include the standard options. The only negative is the roll which I find to be overly chewy. My son loves the grilled cheese from the kids menu. He says it's gooey and well toasted.

Great place to pick up a quick sub while at the beach (it is perfect stop on your way into Rehoboth or Dewey)! We got the cheese steak and chicken cheese steak and both were amazing! Definitely our new fav place at the beach to grab a sub!

This place is great period. BEST ITALIAN SUB EVER. Order it all the way. Juice dripping down your arm, you will love it. Great portions and great prices. Try everything it is all good! Special sandwich of the day with chips and a drink for six bucks! We stop here on the way home for one last sub when our beach vacation weeks end. So good I will write a poem. This place has good grub Especially Italian sub So go and get some food And you will be a dood.

Al's has the best subs I've ever eaten. I wish they'd put a shop in Franklin, TN. We will miss you until Summer 2015.

Had lunch there today... The Italian sub with prosciutto was to die for.... Lots of meats topped off by prosciutto.. My wife & I split a sub... They have all u need... Chips. Soda. Pizzeles.. Give Casapullas a try... U won't be disappointed.

Went here around 3 pm on a Saturday in February. Still crowded, brisk business. A good sign. We had the steak and cheese and Italian sub with sweet peppers not the hot. Things I liked: great bread-held the steak & cheese together and the bread was chewy and delicious. Loved the provolone and real meat/ steak. If anyone is familiar with the Italian store up in Arlington va, it rivals their Italian subs. Has neighborhood feel and nice service.

We moved away from Rehoboth several years ago and always make it a point to stop in at least once when we visit. The Italian sub, fries and Birch Beer are our standard items to order and we always leave happy. I will say that subs have localized taste and assembly variations so what you get away from home may be a bit different, and Casapulla's are not the same as Carmen's were 50 years ago. Gas wasn't $4.00 per gallon then either.

Best subs I've ever had. I get either the Italian or the cheesesteak and they're both excellent. Fresh meats always and they're fast and efficient.
(5)Janeen D.
The way all Italian subs should be! I had an Italian/proscuitto baby sub-six inches of pure Italian heaven. Thinly sliced boars head meats, hot peppers, vinegar...mmm!! Excellent way to refuel when running around the outlets!

What a place! Started going there after seeing it for a while, and never would have guessed, bad on me!!! But this is something else! cheese steak sandwich for starters is to die for, flavorful and meaty. The oven roasted turkey sandwich restored my faith in turkey, have never tasted turkey so moist and flavorful. Their subs are in a word, Divine! No day goes by without thinking of a pit stop at Casapulla's. Only if they had beer!

Maybe it serves me right for ordering a salad at a sandwich shop, but it was on the menu. Frost-bitten brown lettuce, no tomatoes, onions, Parmesan. Nothing but lettuce, really. The warm yellow sludge at the bottom I can only assume was chicken at some point. The worst part is they probably use the same lettuce and chicken on their subs, but you can't see the defects as easily as in a salad.

Awesome subs! The chicken parm is my favorite. My girlfriend makes me drive 60 miles to buy pizelles at this place...even though they have them at Safeway. Just kidding. But seriously...
(5)Irena N.
Skip the cheesesteaks and sides, and just go for their Italian subs. They are SO good - everything an Italian sub should be, with the perfect amount of everything. If they had a Casapulla's here in DC, I'd probably be 10 lbs heavier. Yum!
(4)Rev. Robert D.
The Cheesesteaks are great !!!
(3)Courtney R.
Still a solid 4! Turkey, cranberry and stuffing sub? JYEAHHHH BWWOOYYEEEEEEEEEE. I haven't had one of those since I picked one up at Sainsbury's to alleviate homesickness, when I lived in London, crying in my sarnie, missing my family, halfway alone in the country my forefathers were thankful to get away from in the first place.
(4)Missy H.
Amazing subs on fresh rolls. We only get here once a year and always look forward to it. Their in house roasted turkey is amazing. Great kids meal Pb and j too.
(5)Shawn S.
Awesome Italian! Surprised to find it tucked away in a Delaware strip mall.

My family has been going to this place ever since it was opened. Its the only place I have ever had a sub in DEL. When we would drive up from Maryland there was always a request to bring back Subs LOL. Ive traveled all over the country in search of the perfect Italian sub during my travels and have no found one that could beat Casapults. Ever place these days has these small little skinny subs with no flavor, they don't even know how to build one if they did have the right ingredients. I'm all about taste and size. This fills both needs. You would be a fool not to check this place out. I now live in Phoenix AZ but the memories are ingrained into my head because its the bench mark for the perfect sub.
(5)Dan F.
My favorite sandwich shop anywhere. I've never had something bad here, from the subs to the cheesesteaks. Whenever in town this is where I take my friends and I'm yet to year a complaint!
(5)Stephanie D.
I had a regular cheesesteak , a chicken cheesesteak, and an order of fries (not in one sitting). This was the best cheesesteak that I have ever had. A few days before, I had a cheesesteak from Pat's in Philly (the original) and after trying this one, I think Pat's should take a lesson from the cooks at Casapulla's. The fries were also really good too with malt vinegar on top. If you are even in the remote area of Casapulla's, definitely go eat one of their cheesesteaks.
(5)Janet S.
After a morning of outlet shopping, Lisa and I wanted HOAGIES. We didn't want Subway bullshit we wanted the real thing and Casapulla's was perfect! Granted, we didn't try the cheesesteaks but this place had a large selection of hoagies, deli sandwiches, and salads made exactly how you want them and some killer cheese fries. Again, in a word, perfect.
(5)Dominic C.
Excellent cheesesteaks if you like 'em with Provolone. Still no 'Whiz wit' :)
(4)Christian H.
The subs here are huge and satisfying. It's in a random strip mall which makes it feel a little weird but it's great. Good cure for a hangover too ;) The meatball sub is huge -- enough for lunch, dinner and maybe even another lunch. Kinda heavy on the garlic, but isn't that kind of expected? It should be. You've been warned.
(3)Morris S.
A decent cheesesteak; a little on the dry side and loses points for no fried onions. Its not quite as good as the best of Philly, but definitely worth checking out if you are hungry after a tough morning of outlet shopping or water park sliding. The vinegar fries were excellent, thick and not overfried.
